An evening at an exclusive venue
Looking for something different! Do you wish to reward your hard working staff and colleagues, impress your clients or just give your family and friends an enjoyable and interesting two hours?
Why not book The Guards Museum for a two-hour historical tour of the Foot Guards 360 odd years of British military history and their association to the Sovereign. You will see items relating to The Grand Old Duke of York, The Duke of Wellington, Field Marshal Alexander, and many other items relating to the ordinary soldier. Hear about the Guards fighting prowess on the battlefields of North America, the Peninsular War campaigns, the Battle of Waterloo, the Crimean War, The Sudan, World Wars One and Two and all those little campaigns since.
Also learn about their Public Duties in guarding the Sovereign and the Royal Palaces.
The Museum is one of the best regimental museums in the country and is situated in a unique setting, opposite St Jamesís Park and close to Buckingham Palace.
Your visit will last no longer than two hours and can start at either 5.30pm or 6.00pm. To make it more enjoyable the visit can include tea, coffee and biscuits. You will be guided around on a personal tour by one of the knowledgeable museum staff.
The visits costs £25 per head and is available for a minimum of 10 and a maximum of 30 persons. Available Monday to Friday only.
