The Guards Museum has its own retail outlet known as The Guards Toy Soldier Centre. It is located on the right as you come through the main gates off Birdcage Walk, the shop is managed for us by MKL Models.
As well as our own merchandise such as Changing The Guard and Museum Tour DVDs, Changing The Guard and Mrs Albert Broom’s booklets and CDs, the shop sells an extensive range of Britains Toy Soldiers, which can be purchased either as individual pieces or as presentation box sets. The extensive range covers all period from knights in armour, the Napoleonic Wars, Crimean War, Zulu War, American Civil War, both World Wars to the present day British ceremonial. The range includes figures from many foreign armies. As an added bonus to enhance your collection many accessories can be purchased, such as sand bags, vehicles, tanks and gun, fencing, scenic material, building etc. Civilian figures and animals are also available.
A range of the older Britains collectors figures are for sale and for the younger collector a range of plastic figures are available.
The shop has larger connoisseur pieces, these feature todays uniforms, mainly covering both Foot Guards and the Household Cavalry.
The shop also sells a wide range of present day Guards items such as cap badges, blazer badges, beret with the Guards blue/red/blue patch, pace sticks, ties, braces, watch straps to name a few.
Other items which have a Guards connection for sale are mugs, pill boxes, key rings, book marks, thimbles, polo/sweat/T shirts, lapel badges and drum ice buckets all of which can be purchased with the individual Guards regiment badges or the Divisional badge.
Also available are a large range of postcards, books, prints – many framed, DVDs and CDs covering all the major events the Guards have featured in.
