Archives and Family Research

Unfortunately the Museum does not hold soldiers records, so we are unable to help with this type of family research. However, you can find details of where to go…

Our Archives

The Museum does not hold Regimental Archives or individual service records. We are therefore unable to assist with specific research involving such records.

We do have an ever expanding collection of photographs and documents, and are happy to assist enquiries.

For enquiries a simple search of our catalogue will be made free of charge. Should records be found further research will be charged at £20 an hour. Photographs or copies of documents can be provided at £50 each. These will need to be digitised so the fee covers our time for this. Your research will be discussed with our curatorial team prior to any work or charges being made.
